Thanks, Conrad. Just getting a look at the site now. I've never been a regular user of social network sites [yes, I'm the last person in the world that doesn't use Facebook], but don't give up on me!
Conrad, did you do all this? This is incredible, and exactly what we need! Good work, friend.
Wow, Conrad...the site is GORGEOUS! This will make our networking efforts much easier. Thanks!
Sorry I didn't get to the ice cream social - I got stuck at the airport! I am writing an article for Parent magazine. I want to start two Community Challenges - one geared toward kids and the other adults. I have been trying to do this with the City for years but ..... Anyway, the idea is that Mid Sept - Oct - we will kick off Be a Superhero for Sustainability. I have a cap and Superman cutout and folks get their picture taken and take the pledge. We could post the challenge and pictures on Transition, Fort Collins. In Oct we can do another one focused on recycling. I have at least one school interested. P1020615.JPG
I noticed when I searched Tranistion Colorado another webpage came up "created by Kelly" - can we merge the websites - I think the one you did is much more comprehensive and folks make not find it.
Hi everyone! I am just joining the crowd and am working on my own Time Banking project in FoCo... would love to hear your thoughts and sync up -
is anyone still interested in this topic??

Conrad,
I heard about Luke's accident. I know your brother is a private person and doesn't necessarily like other people at Shire but I have done some Make a Difference Day events there. Luke has been amazing in supporting my projects with the homeless, providing plants and herbs for five community gardens at the Affordable Housing units and SRO housing (i.e. PTS and recovering addicts/alcoholics), nibble garden on the bike path to introduce kids/adults to wild fruit and healthy snacks, biodiversity project to introduce native plants, West Nile (bats not sprays) Project and the connecting farmers to restaurants through the herb baskets. He was also the only person that welcomed two of the non-profits that serve developmentally disabled adults at past Make a Difference Day events. If he wants help I can organize a posse of workers for a four hour block of time on two days this summer to help him. Just let me know what you think. If you give us a list of tasks I can get tools from the Parks Department. Best way to reach me is email - drperseverance@yahoo.com or rrusso@fcgov.com. Cell is 970 692-1428. CJ hangs with my son so that is another easy way to keep in touch.
