Green Renters

We created Green Renters for the 40% of our residents in Fort Collins who rent.  We would like to see renters receive savings on their utility bills and work with landlords to retrofit their rentals for more sustainability.  Too often renters are left out of the the savings and healthy lifestyle and environmental sustainability benefits that homeowners often can more easily access. We aim to change that!

In Fall 2017 we will be doing our Green Renters class for the first time at CSU.

Summer of 2017, Green Renters was one of 6 finalists (out of 60 letters of intent and 17 applicants invited to apply) for the Innovate Fort Collins Challenge grants.  For more information on our proposal to the city and the program we are committed to offer to CSU students, see the youtube website link to our powerpoint presentation below.

Unfortunately we were not selected for a grant, but we may be back to re-apply in 2018!  See our pictures in the sidebar.

Location: Currently we're pioneering this program in a CSU Green Renters Class through the School of Global and Environmental Sustainability
