Transition Streets is an exciting, informative and FREE 7-session program (with a handbook you will use in meetings and at home) which will highlight City of Fort Collins resources for energy and water efficiencies in your home, as well as help you lower your carbon footprint through upgrading your practices for waste, food, and transportation in your home and neighborhood.
Transition Streets is currently being offered under the auspices of Transition Fort Collins and a new Fort Collins Neighborhood Services pilot project called Neighborhood Connections.
There are many reasons to like this program, but here are the main ones: 1) City staff will be doing presentations on efficiency programs which will help you save money, while 2) you have fun meeting with community folks who want to contribute personally in their residences and neighborhoods to the city’s climate action plan and/or are currently doing relevant projects within the community.
